Protoclesia
Protoclesia
How would you respond if you were given permission to be who you are rather than the person you’ve been trying to be? What if you could take what you have (rather than worry about what you don’t have) and do something wonderful with it? How would you feel if you had the courage to stop doing what doesn’t matter and start doing what does?
Protoclesia is a community that is asking those kinds of questions. Asking worthwhile questions doesn’t just allow us to notice what matters most to us. It also tunes us into important stuff happening right in front of our noses that we had not noticed before. With our vision constantly updated by the questions we wrestle with, we’re able to connect with each other and with events occuring about us in a way that allows us to contribute to the well-being of our local communties and ultimately our planet.
If you’re weary of worn-out answers and want to spend time with others asking fresh questions, the Protoclesia Community may be for you. Check out the community link at the top of this page for our free Mail Chimp newsletter and updates on local gatherings occuring in the San Gabriel Valley. Start asking fresh questions and you’ll get some fresh answers.

Doing What Matters
Protoclesia fosters an approach to Christian discipleship marked by humility, concern for others, simple acts of service, careful listening, and a desire to manifest the presence of Jesus Christ in settings not associated with any existing church.
